From your PASSION to ours

The Category Leadership Planogram Analyst position would work with the Category Leadership team to deliver best in class analytics, assortment, and shelving recommendations through the development of advanced tools, insights, and consultation. This position will leverage data sources such as Retail POS (point of sale) and IRI data to uncover shelving and assortment opportunities such as item recommendations and Space to Sales opportunities. In addition to developing shelving and assortment recommendations, this role would be responsibility for building the retailer Planogram versions in appropriate Space Planogram software (Apollo, JDA, etc.). Another primary responsibility would be to do on-site visits with the customer to develop test sets at simulation rooms. This role would complement to the existing Category Leadership team and would contribute to Category Reviews and other retailer requests. The role would be supporting the West Area and National Accounts Area (primarily West Area)


From your STORY to ours

  

Schematic/Planogram Work - 75%

  • Area Lead on receiving, managing, and prioritizing planogram requests
  • Develop POG proposals for customer presentations based on data available and strategic initiatives Update all Cheese POG?s for retailers based on insights coming out of Category Reviews
  • Review available data provided in Space Planning software to ensure POG versions match retailers compliance metrics on days of supply, case pack out, assortment progressions, etc.
  • Utilize Tables available in Space Planning Software to provide recommendations for retailers that will improve Category Performance
  • Maintain current and active product image library for planogram use

Assortment Recommendations 15%

  • Partner with the Lactalis Sales Team to develop assortment recommendations for Category Reviews and New Item Presentations utilizing IRI, retailer specific POS or other available data sources
  • Conduct space to sales analysis utilizing available Planogram Software metrics along with Sales data
  • Create slides on both assortment and space to sales recommendations that can be used in customer meetings

Test Sets 10%

  • Partner with Retailers to develop Planogram at test site locations.
  • This includes partnering with the Lactalis Sales team to ensure product samples are ordered
  • Test sets will need to be scanned into Space Planning Software
  • Provide key insights to retailers on ways they can better merchandise product to optimize the shelf to deliver category growth
Requirements

From your EXPERTISE to ours

  • Bachelor?s Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in the CPG
  • Must have experience using Planogram software such as Apollo or JDA
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable with presenting internally and externally
  • Working knowledge of Retailer POS data and IRI Unify
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint, Apollo or JDA
  • Strong analytical skills paired with intellectual curiosity; always testing hypothesis
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
  • Ability to travel (up to 15%)
