Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of equipment operators and maintenance technicians to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of all plant machinery and equipment. This role includes implementing a preventative maintenance program, managing the maintenance shop, and maintaining inventory and parts ordering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of equipment operators and maintenance technicians.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Manage the maintenance shop, including inventory control and ordering of parts and supplies.
- Ensure timely and effective maintenance of all equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to support operational goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience with the following equipment:
- Ossid packaging and labeling machinery
- Multivac skin and tray pack equipment
- Metal detection systems
- X-ray inspection systems
- Inkjet printers
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge with Electrical and Ammonia Refrigeration is a plus
Education & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment
