What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant machinery: mixers, conveyors, compressors, motors, pumps
  • Repair/replace control devices: switches, sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters
  • Maintain oven components: burners, valves, bearings, scrapers
  • Work on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical power systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLCs (Allen Bradley)
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks
  • Operate metalworking equipment: welders, drill press, grinders, sheet metal tools
  • Monitor and record environmental conditions (e.g., wastewater measurements)
  • Collaborate with production, refrigeration, and warehouse teams to resolve plant issues
  • Assist in developing SOPs and duty cycles for equipment maintenance
  • Participate in plant safety, SQF2000, health, and environmental programs
  • Support boiler and hot water systems maintenance


What You Bring
  • High School Diploma (Technical College or PLC Certification preferred)
  • 6+ years mechanical/electrical maintenance experience (hydraulic/pneumatic + PLC troubleshooting)
  • 4+ years in manufacturing (food manufacturing/packaging preferred)
  • Skilled with electrical meters, maintenance tools, and metalworking equipment
  • Experienced with boiler/hot water systems maintenance
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to interpret schematics, plans, and O&M manuals
  • Physically able to stand, bend, climb, and lift 50 lbs regularly
