We are hiring a Controls & Automation Engineer in Jefferson, GA.
Join a growing, family-owned food ingredients manufacturing company. We develop and manufacture natural, clean label ingredients for major food companies throughout the United States. This is a hands-on engineering role supporting and improving automated production systems across our facility.
In this role, you will:
- Lead troubleshooting and optimization of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
- Support Allen Bradley/Rockwell and Siemens automation platforms.
- Drive automation upgrades, reliability improvements, and capital projects!
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams
- Supervise and support our Automation Technician
We are looking for someone with:
- 5+ years of industrial automation experience
- Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with industrial controls, VFDs, instrumentation, and networking
- A proactive, hands-on approach in a manufacturing environment
