Position Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) with strong coding and testing expertise, focusing on testability and test automation within the development process. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain robust test infrastructure, frameworks, tools, and custom automation solutions to ensure scalability and maintainability of test suites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and
maintain test infrastructure, including frameworks, tools, and custom
automation solutions.
- Develop
and execute test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Stand up
End-to-End test automation from scratch.
- Set up
CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
- Work with
AWS services and Docker to manage and execute test automation suites.
- Collaborate
with development teams to integrate testing into the development
lifecycle.
- Ensure
high-quality deliverables through Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience:
5-6 years as an SDET.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related
field.
- Strong
programming skills in Core Java and Python.
- Hands-on
experience with Selenium and Karate test automation frameworks.
- Knowledge
of test methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience
with AWS tools (e.g., CloudWatch) and databases like Postgres.
- Proven
ability to design and implement BDD frameworks and independently develop
testing solutions.
- Excellent
troubleshooting skills and ability to identify risks and errors in
applications.
- Strong
verbal and written communication skills.
- Good time
management and organizational skills.
- Ability to
stay current with evolving technologies.
- Passion
for testing, development, and design.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience
with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
- Familiarity
with containerization and orchestration tools beyond Docker (e.g.,
Kubernetes).
